Chris Johnson did not practice on Wednesday, a hit or miss fantasy player

Andy Lyons

Tennessee Titans RB Chris Johnson was held out of practice on Wednesday. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson did not practice on Wednesday, via John Glennon. The Titans' feature back landed on the team's injury report, still bothered with that ankle, but is expected to return to practice on Thursday and Friday.

Since Glennon reported that Johnson is expected to return to practice, the team is probably just trying to get him some extra rest.

Fantasy Analysis: The Titans running back has been hit or miss for a good part of the season. On a number of occasions, he laid eggs -- particularly at the beginning of the season. He grew stronger as the season went on but was hard to rely on.

Facing the Jaguars in Week 17, Johnson should have a a good shot to rack up some decent numbers. He may be a worthwhile start this weekend.
