Jeff Hanisch-US PRESSWIRE
The Packers may opt to rest Cobb for the playoffs on Sunday.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb missed practice on Thursday, according to Pete Dougherty of the Green Bay Press Gazette.
Cobb is dealing with ankle and knee injuries that are casting a serious shadow on his availability for Week 17. The Packers aren't desperate for a win against the Minnesota Vikings, so there is no need to rush him back into action.
Fantasy Impact: Randall Cobb emerged as a top tier fantasy wide receiver this season with Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson consistently battling injuries. Now Cobb is fighting through aches and pains of his own.
Sunday's matchup is certainly a good one, but the Packers will likely rest Cobb in an attempt to get him healthy for the playoff push.
