Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate missed practice on Thursday with an illness. The third-year wide receiver is enjoying a career season, catching 42 passes for 583 yards and seven touchdowns for Seattle. Tate missed Week 1 but has been active in every game since.
He caught 2 passes for 27 yards in the Seahawks win over the 49ers on Sunday night.
Fantasy Take: Golden Tate is not much of a fantasy option right now. Maybe in the future, as Russell Wilson and the passing offense open up even more, he can be a 900-1100 yard receiver, but that's not the Seahawks 2012 offense. He ranks as a low-end WR3 play and you're just hoping he scores.
I would not expect him to miss the season finale against the Rams.
