BenJarvus Green-Ellis returns to practice Friday: Fantasy implications

Jason Bridge-USA TODAY Sports

BenJarvus Green-Ellis was back at practice after dealing with an illness earlier. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cincinnati Bengals RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis (illness) returned to practice on Friday. Green-Ellis sat out Thursday with an undisclosed illness, but it doesn't appear to be anything serious. He is fully expected to suit up against the Baltimore Ravens in the regular season finale.

Green-Ellis has 1,094 yards and six touchdowns on the season.

Fantasy Impact: The Bengals already have a playoff spot sewn up, but Marvin Lewis is planning to play his starters. That's good news for fantasy owners who play in Week 17 and have difficult lineup decisions to make.

Before last week's 14-yard dud Green-Ellis was one of the most consistent backs in fantasy. Start him as a RB2 just like in normal weeks.
