Calvin Johnson misses practice Friday, but may not be a fantasy concern

Gregory Shamus

Calvin Johnson sat out practice on Friday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson (knee) was held out of practice on Friday. Johnson was limited on Thursday, so he's getting the dreaded midweek downgrade. Or it would be for most people, but Megatron has played while missing a whole week of practice before.

There's not much to indicate he will miss the season finale against the Chicago Bears.

Fantasy Impact: This news does suggest that Megatron probably won't be playing the whole game. He's only 108 yards from being the first receiver to reach 2,000, so it's entirely possible he will be benched after getting the milestone.

Fantasy owners can at least count on him getting that 100+ yards even if he doesn't play the whole game.
