San Francisco 49ers wide out Michael Crabtree led his team in receiving in Sunday's match-up versus the St. Louis Rams. In Week 13, the 49ers receiver finished with 7 receptions for 101 yards. However, Crabtree failed to find the end zone, which would have been the icing on the cake.
With Colin Kaepernick behind center for the Niners now, the offense has not been afraid to sling the football. One of the more significant benefactors from this QB change has been Crabtree.
Fantasy Analysis: Colin Kaepernick fits more of the gunslinger mold than Alex Smith. Now that Crabtree is catching balls from No. 7, his ceiling has been raised.
Crabtree will be a legitimate fantasy option for the rest of the season. Consider the 49ers No. 1 pass-catcher to be a high-end flex going forward, especially in PPR leagues.
