Steven Jackson breaks 100 all-purpose in Week 13: Fantasy Implications

Dilip Vishwanat

St. Louis Rams RB Steven Jackson breaks 100 all-purpose yards on Sunday. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson had a blue-collar day for his team on Sunday. In Week 13 versus the San Francisco 49ers, Jackson carried the ball 21 times for 48 yards rushing. He also managed to take on 5 receptions for 69 yards.

Jackson did not break the plane on Sunday, but his team did escape with a clutch win in the overtime period.

Fantasy Analysis: Steven Jackson had 26 total touches for 117 all-purpose yards. For PPR leagues, this was a particularly solid day, considering he had 5 catches.

Jackson has always been multi-dimensional threat, which has paid dividends in fantasy leagues. Unfortunately, because of the team he's on, Jackson has a lot of downside. Consider him a RB2 or high-end flex in the fantasy postseason.
