Reggie Wayne has a brief dip in fantasy production

Dave Reginek

Indianapolis Colts WR Reggie Wayne had an unremarkable performance in Week 13. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Indianapolis Colts wide out Reggie Wayne was not his usually self on Sunday. In the Week 13 match-up against the Detroit Lions, the Colts' veteran receiver finished with 4 receptions for 51 yards.

Wayne was also held out of the end zone. And even though the Lions were able to contain Wayne for the most part, they could not do enough to stop Andrew Luck, as the Colts went on to win.

Fantasy Analysis: Wayne has been on of the more consistent fantasy players in 2012. On a week to week basis, owners can count on him to be targeted by Luck a dozen times.

Wayne has led by example this year, contributing as the central playmaker in this Colts offense. Even though Wayne had an off night, he is a must start for the remainder of 2012.
