Chad Henne went just 18-for-41 passing for 208 yards, one touchdown and one interception during the Jaguars' loss to the Bills on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Chad Henne went 18-for-41 passing for 208 yards, one touchdown and one interception during the Jacksonville Jaguars' loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Henne found Cecil Shorts III for his fourth quarter score.
Henne had thrown six touchdowns to one interception in the two games prior to Sunday's outing. He has now thrown for over 200 yards in each of his three starts this season.
Fantasy Impact: Henne struggled on the day, but that's not surprising considering the windy, rainy conditions. His counterpart, Ryan Fitzpatrick, threw for just 112 yards for the Bills. Henne still deserves some appreciation for stepping up in the last few weeks in place of the injured Blaine Gabbert.
That said, Henne should not be considered a safe fantasy starter in standard formats. His numbers in Weeks 11 and 12 looked decent, but we're still talking about a guy who couldn't beat out a struggling Gabbert at any point this season. Next week's game against the New York Jets is not a good matchup.
