Aaron Hernandez had eight receptions for 97 yards off 13 targets during the New England Patriots' win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Hernandez was playing in his second game back after suffering a setback on his ankle injury in Week 7 against the New York Jets.
With Rob Gronkowski marked inactive with a broken forearm, Hernandez recorded a season high in catches, yards and targets. Hernandez has appeared in just six games this season.
Fantasy Impact: With Gronkowski likely out for at least another week, Hernandez should continue to be a top-tier fantasy option. Brady targeted him and Wes Welker for over 75 percent of his passing attempts Sunday. If Hernandez had been able to find the end zone, he would have been among the best fantasy performers of the week.
The Pats' schedule toughens up, with the Houston Texans and the San Francisco 49ers on deck. Regardless, Hernandez deserves starting consideration in all fantasy formats going forward.
