Reggie Bush leads Dolphins backfield, but quiet fantasy-wise

Reggie Bush led the Dolphins' running backs with 64 yards rushing on 15 carries during Sunday's loss to the Patriots. We break down the fantasy implications.

Reggie Bush led all Miami Dolphins rushers with 64 yards on 15 carries during Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots. Daniel Thomas had just 10 yards on five carries, though he did add 19 yards on two receptions.

Bush has now been held without a touchdown in five of his last seven games played. He has had double-digit carries in three straight games now, however.

Fantasy Impact: Bush is still the preferred running back in the Dolphins' running game. Unfortunately, he doesn't have much support elsewhere, which is a blow to his fantasy prospects. Ryan Tannehill completed less than half of his passes on the day for 186 yards. With no air support, a stout Patriots run defense was able to gear up against Bush and Co.

With the San Francisco 49ers on deck (on the road, no less) Bush is not a recommended starter this week except for the truly desperate.
