Josh Gordon had six receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown during the Browns' win over the Raiders on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Josh Gordon had six receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown to lead the Cleveland Browns in receiving during Sunday's win over the Oakland Raiders. Gordon's seven targets were behind the nine given tight end Benjamin Watson for the game.
Gordon's outing was his first over 100 yards for the season (and by extension, for his career). The rookie recorded his first touchdown reception since Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Fantasy Impact: Since recording four touchdowns over Weeks 5, 6 and 7, Gordon had been relatively quiet. He bounced back in a big way on Sunday, however. Unfortunately, a lot of fantasy owners likely relegated him to the bench this week.
Gordon falls into the "boom or bust" category of fantasy receivers. If you're an underdog in your playoff matchup next week, Gordon could be worth starting consideration going up against a bad Kansas City Chiefs secondary. Just be wary of the risk.
