Larry Fitzgerald has the wind taken out of his sails: Fantasy Implications

Jeff Hanisch-US PRESSWIRE

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald had the wind taken out of his sails following Week 13. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Arizona Cardinals wide out Larry Fitzgerald said he had "no words" following Sunday's loss to the New York Jets. In a heartbreaking 7-6 loss to the one of the league's worst teams, the big-play receiver seemed emotionally distraught about the state of his team.

Fitzgerald is having perhaps his worst season as a pro, and to no fault of his own. Arizona's inability to lock down a franchise quarterback has been a curse.

Fantasy Analysis: This post-game quotes will make headlines, but will not affect Fitzgerald's fantasy value anymore. By now, Fitz owners have realized that the instability at the QB position has cost them serious production. Regardless, Fitzgerald is a must-start.

While his name may look like a WR1, in terms of production he is more of a low-end WR2 or above average flex. Whatever the case, Fitzgerald should remain in your starting lineup.
