Eli Manning poised for big fantasy night

Jim O'Connor-US PRESSWIRE

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning could have a big game on Monday Night Football against the Redskins. We break down the fantasy implications.

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning could have a big game against a porous Washington Redskins defense on Monday Night Football. Manning was impressive against the Green Bay Packers in Week 12 after a few off weeks.

Manning hopes to continue to build upon the momentum he started against the Packers when he faces a Redskins defense that has been routinely been beaten by the pass.

Fantasy Impact: Last time Manning faced the Redskins he threw for 337 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. In the three games following the Redskins game Manning failed to throw for a touchdown as the Giants offense stalled.

Manning looks to have bounced back from his struggles after New York's bye week with a strong game against the Packers. Combined with the Redskins defensive struggles, Manning could be in for a big game.
