Ronnie Brown to share the backfield in Week 17, fantasy risk in finale

USA TODAY Sports

San Diego Chargers RB Ronnie Brown will split time on Sunday. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

San Diego Chargers running back Ronnie Brown was officially listed as questionable on the team's injury report. The Chargers tailback was limited in Friday's practice, still bothered by a hamstring injury.

Considering the team is still without Ryan Mathews, Brown's participation on Friday is a good sign. Expect him to be ready for Week 17 when the Chargers take on the Raiders.

Fantasy Analysis: Brown will be a game-time decision, but should be ready to go on Sunday. The Chargers are thin at running back, as Mathews just can't seem to stay healthy.

It should be Ronnie Brown and Jackie Battle splitting carries again on Sunday. Luckily, they have a chance to be productive as a tandem with the Raiders scheduled for the season finale.
