Chiefs vs. Broncos: Fantasy football projections Jamaal Charles, Peyton Manning and Demaryius Thomas

Dustin Bradford

We break down the pertinent fantasy projections for the Week 17 matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos.

It's a tale of two teams in this matchup. The Broncos haven't lost a game since baseball season and the Chiefs are staring the first pick in the draft in the face. In order to help you set the optimal playoff lineup, we've got player projections courtesy of numberFire.

Kansas City Chiefs

Well, it;s been a long year for the Chiefs and they're going to be in trouble with the Broncos trying to get a bye. Jamaal Charles is really the only player that should even be considered as a starter. He's leading the AFC in rushing and the Chiefs will try to get him the ball come hell or high water. Dexter McCluster is a desperation play in PPR leagues.

Denver Broncos

The Broncos O has looked close to unstopppable and they'll be licking their chops at home. Knowshon Moreno is going to be on a lot of fantasy championship teams and this week he should produce RB1 numbers. Peyton Manning, Demaryuius Thomas and Eric Decker look to be used as must-start options as well.
