Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart (ankle) will miss the season finale, his sixth straight missed start. Stewart had won the starting job in the middle of the year over incumbent DeAngelo Williams, but quickly fell out with the ankle injury and has not been able to return. Neither Williams nor Stewart has been very effective this year.
Williams is averaging 3.5 yards per carry, while Stewart finishes the year at 3.6 yards per carry. The Panthers take on the Saints in Week 17.
Fantasy Take: You would like to think that Williams is in line for 150 yards against the league's worst defense, but he had just 19 yards on 10 carries against the Raiders in Week 16. There is no guarantee. Carolina has some work to do over the offseason with that offensive line and backfield.
