Chris Johnson is active for Sunday's game between the Titans and the Jaguars, according to reports. We break down the fantasy implications.
Chris Johnson is active for Sunday's game between the Tennessee Titans and the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to Adam Caplan. Johnson was listed as questionable heading into the weekend due to an ankle injury, and was limited in practice Friday after missing practice Wednesday and Thursday.
Though Johnson did not approach his transcendent numbers from early in his career, he has so far turned in a solid season at running back. Through 15 games, he has 1,187 yards on the ground with five touchdowns. He is averaging 4.7 yards per carry.
Fantasy Impact: It remains to be seen what kind of role Johnson will play in the Titans' regular season finale. At least fantasy owners can be somewhat reassured that he won't be rested. The Titans don't have a playoff run to worry about. In fantasy leagues extending into Week 17, Johnson is a relatively safe play, going up against a Jaguars defense giving up 145 yards rushing per game.
