The Lions tight end was doubtful this week. We break down the fantasy implications.

Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew (ankle) is active on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. Pettigrew was listed as doubtful after missing three games and only practicing once this week, but he will play in the season finale.

It has not been as productive of a season as expected for Pettigrew. His season-high of 77 yards came in Week 1 and he has caught just three touchdowns. Overall, Pettigrew has 57 catches for 556 yards.

Fantasy Take: He has not played in three weeks, he did not practice much this week, the Bears still have a great defense, and Pettigrew is having a down year, as are most Detroit Lions. He is not much of a play in any fantasy leagues, except for Week 17 leagues, I guess, which you might be in if you're reading this.
