Ahmad Bradshaw marked active by Giants: Fantasy implications

Patrick McDermott

Ahmad Bradshaw is active for Sunday's game between the Giants and the Eagles, despite a nagging foot injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ahmad Bradshaw is active for Sunday's game between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles. He has been dealing with a foot injury, but was listed as probable on Friday's injury report after practicing throughout the week.

The Giants are not expected to rest starters during their regular season finale, due to a sliver of hope that they can still make the playoffs. Rookie David Wilson may push Bradshaw for touches within the Giants offense, however.

Fantasy Impact: Bradshaw is potentially a solid fantasy play for owners in leagues that extend into Week 17. The Eagles will be motivated as they try to win one last game for Andy Reid, but they are still an 11-loss team. The Giants aren't expected to fall behind big like they did last week against the Baltimore Ravens, which should translate into plenty of touches for Bradshaw against a defense giving up 4.1 yards per carry on the year. Wilson had just three carries last week to Bradshaw's nine.
