Roddy White active but fantasy value is very low

Marc Serota

White has never missed a game in his career and probably just doesn't want that to end on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White (knee) is active in Week 17 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but is not expected to play more than a series or two. White was questionable this week, and the Falcons have no incentive to win with the No. 1 seed wrapped up, but White has never missed a game in his NFL career.

Atlanta will likely get him in there for a series and pull him as they prepare for a bye week in the NFL playoffs. Some starters are expected to play into the second half, to avoid a longer layoff than necessary with one week off in the playoffs, but head coach Mike Smith would also do well to avoid injuries.

Fantasy Take: Don't start White in your weird Week 17 fantasy league. He won't play much.
