Stevan Ridley took advantage of goal line plunges to get big fantasy points for Week 17 leagues.
New England Patriots RB Stevan Ridley is still piling on fantasy points in Week 17. At halftime against the Miami Dolphins, Ridley has 10 carries for 30 yards and two touchdowns. The Patriots currently lead 21-0.
Both of Ridley's scores came on goal-line plunges, as the Patriots are mostly using him in short-yardage plays, mixing in Shane Vereen and Danny Woodhead on passing downs.
Fantasy Impact: With a huge halftime lead and a first-round bye all but guaranteed now, I wouldn't be surprised if the Pats take it easy on Ridley over the second half.
Ridley has now scored 12 touchdowns on the season, completing one of the biggest fantasy surprises of the season.
