Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is putting up great numbers against the Green Bay Packers as he nears the rushing record. We break down the fantasy implications.
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has already eclipsed 2,000 yards on the season and is narrowing in on Eric Dickerson's record as the Vikings hold a 27-24 lead over the Green Bay Packers. Peterson has 25 carries for 147 yards and a touchdown with a two-yard touchdown reception added on top.
Peterson is continuing with one of the best rushing seasons in NFL history. In addition to his impressive yardage he has 13 total touchdowns on the season. AP also went over the 100-yard mark 10 times this season.
Fantasy Impact: Peterson has been an absolute beast and is getting it done again in Week 17. He was limited to one of his worst games of the season last week in what was fantasy championship week for many, but is making up for it in Week 17.
With a full quarter left to play, keep a close eye on Peterson to see if he breaks the rushing record.
