Chris Johnson has 21 carries for 56 yards and a touchdown during the Titans' win over the Jaguars on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Chris Johnson had 21 carries for 56 yards and a touchdown during the Tennessee Titans' win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. He averaged under 3.0 yards per carry for the third time in four games, and under 4.0 yards per carry for the fifth time in six games.
Johnson rushed for less than 60 yards in eight of 16 games played this season, but also had five games with at least 122 yards rushing. He finished the year with five total touchdowns.
Fantasy Impact: Johnson had a bounce-back year relative to his dismal 2011 season, but he still didn't look anywhere close to being the elite runner he was in his first three NFL seasons. He should be considered an RB2 in next year's fantasy drafts, simply because his ceiling is still very high. Don't expect the frustrating outings to go away, however.
