Andre Johnson goes off in fantasy to close out season

Scott Halleran

Andre Johnson finished the regular season with another huge game. We break down the fantasy implications.

Andre Johnson caught 12 passes for 141 yards in Week 17 against the Colts. He was targeted a team-high 17 times by Matt Schaub, far more than any other receiver on the team.

Johnson has gone off like this several times in 2012. His 12 catches marked the second-most this year.

Fantasy Impact: His value took a hit after injuries marred his 2011 campaign, but Johnson proved how valuable he could be down the stretch this season. He finishes with six games of 100 or more yards, and three games with double-digit receptions.

Expect Johnson's average draft position to shoot back up heading into 2013. As long as he stays healthy, he can pay off big time for owners.
