Ahmad Bradshaw had 103 yards rushing on 24 carries during the Giants' loss to the Redskins on Monday Night Football. We break down the fantasy implications.
Ahmad Bradshaw had 103 yards rushing on 24 carries, but couldn't keep the New York Giants from losing to the Washington Redskins, 17-16, on Monday Night Football. He also had two receptions for 13 yards in the loss.
Bradshaw went beyond 100 yards rushing for the first time since picking up 116 yards in Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers. He has now gone past 100 total yards of offense in two straight games. He has just one touchdown over his last five outings, however.
Fantasy Impact: Bradshaw should see more scoring opportunities going forward with goal line-leech Andre Brown on injured reserve. The Giants' offense bogged down as it approached the end zone on Monday, thanks in part to an inordinate number of penalties. Most encouragingly, Bradshaw appears to be 100 percent healthy for the first time in a while.
David Wilson had just four carries during the loss, suggesting that the backfield belongs to Bradshaw until further notice. He has an excellent matchup next week against the New Orleans Saints. There will be plenty of opportunities to make an impact for PPR owners in what could be a shootout.
