Colin Kaepernick still the guy in San Francisco, a fantasy option in Week 14

US PRESSWIRE

San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh has decided to forge ahead with Colin Kaepernick. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Following Sunday's loss, San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh said he's sticking with quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

The Niners' second-year passer made some mental errors versus St. Louis, but after all, it was only his third career start. Harbaugh has decided to forge ahead with Kaepernick, largely because he knows what sort of upside No. 7 has. The dual-threat has made some eye-popping plays in limited time and will only get better.

Fantasy Analysis: Kaepernick will get the start once again in Week 14 versus the Miami Dolphins. Kaep is a relevant fantasy quarterback already. In his first start versus the Chicago Bears, he outscored Peyton Manning (vs. KC) in fantasy.

Consider Kaepernick to be the poor man's RGIII. If you need to roll the dice on Sunday, feel free to start Kaepernick, as he has a favorable match-up this week.
