Steven Jackson misses Wednesday's practice, fantasy value unchanged

Dilip Vishwanat

St. Louis Rams RB Steven Jackson (foot) was held out Wednesday's practice. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson was held out of Wednesday's practice, per Jim Thomas. Jackson was listed on the team's injury report with a foot ailment.

This is something Jackson has been fighting through, but it hasn't hampered his productivity on the field. The team has taken to resting Jackson early in the week.

Fantasy Analysis: Steven Jackson should not be causing concern for fantasy owners. He is on track to play this Sunday versus the Buffalo Bills.

Consider Jackson a top RB this week against the Bills' inconsistent defensive front. The big bruising back can take advantage of an unfamiliar opponent and post big numbers. Jackson is a solid RB2 in all fantasy leagues in Week 14.
