Welker won't miss the biggest game of the week. We break down the fantasy implications.
New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker (ankle) was limited in practice on Thursday but this is a common weekly occurrence for players like Welker, Aaron Hernandez and Brandon Lloyd this season after suffering any type of injury. Despite showing up on the injury report on a weekly basis, Welker has not missed a game this season.
Welker has 92 catches for 1,064 yards and four touchdowns. He is coming off of a 12-catch game against the Miami Dolphins, his 17th career 10+ catch performance, tying him with Jerry Rice for the most of all-time. The Patriots take on the Houston Texans in a battle of first place teams.
Fantasy Take: The fantasy news is no different than usual, that Welker is great and is a must-start, even against a tough Houston defense.
