Mario Manningham misses practice Thursday, unlikely to make fantasy impact in Week 14

Mario Manningham missed his second straight practice and could miss Sundays game; will A.J. Jenkins finally be freed? We break down the fantasy implications.

San Francisco 49ers WR Mario Manningham (shoulder) was held out of practice again on Thursday. It was the second straight day he sat out after re-injuring his shoulder in last week's overtime loss, and he's very unlikely to suit up against the Miami Dolphins in Week 14.

Manningham has just 41 catches for 449 yards and one TD on the season.

Fantasy Impact: Could this finally mean some playing time for rookie A.J. Jenkins? Jenkins was active last week when Kyle Williams went on IR, but didn't play a single snap. Now with Manningham likely to sit out, there's a strong chance Jenkins could move ahead of Ted Ginn in the lineup.

Neither player has any fantasy value left this season, but it's a situation Keeper/Dynasty players may want to watch.
