Carson Palmer puts in decent fantasy numbers against Broncos

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Carson Palmer finished with a passer rating of 101.1 in Week 14. We break down the fantasy implications.

Carson Palmer completed 19 of 30 passes for 273 yards, two touchdowns and an interception on Thursday Night Football against the Broncos. The Raiders abandoned the run as the night went on, so Palmer was forced to keep throwing the ball.

Last time these two teams faced off, Palmer failed to find the end zone entirely. Week 14 was an improvement for him.

Fantasy Impact: Oakland was constantly in comeback mode. Palmer did what he could, but Von Miller continued to disrupt the backfield with giving Khalif Barnes a huge headache.

The Raiders receivers struggled with drops once again as well. Palmer made a few perfect throws that simply slid off the fingertips of his targets.
