Hakeem Nicks returns to practice, fantasy status improves

USA TODAY Sports

New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks returned to practice on Friday. We break down the fantasy implications.

New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks returned to practice on Friday after missing two days with a knee injury. Nicks has been banged up for most of the season, but his return to practice means he will likely play on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.

Nicks caught five passes for 43 yards last week and has 46 receptions for 585 yards and two touchdowns in nine games this season.

Fantasy Impact: Make sure to check back and see if Nicks makes it through practice without any issues, but this is a good sign and you should feel confident putting Nicks in your lineup. Nicks has not had his best season, but he has the potential for a big game in any week.

Against the Saints Nicks has potential for a big week. Double check his status before game time, but feel safe starting him if he is active on Sunday.
