Mario Manningham injury update: Fantasy value sinks with doubtful status

Stacy Revere

Mario Manningham needs to be taken out of fantasy football lineups. His shoulder injury is going to cause him to miss Sunday's game.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mario Manningham is officially listed as doubtful on the team's injury report for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.

Manningham is dealing with a shoulder injury and missed practice all week. The 49ers will be without him against the Dolphins this week.

Fantasy Impact: Mario Manningham has 41 catches for 449 yards and one touchdown this season, so it's not like he's been setting the fantasy football world on fire. His targets will likely go to Michael Crabtree, Randy Moss or Vernon Davis this week.

Manningham can probably be dropped in most fantasy leagues, as he won't have much value in the next few weeks. There are higher upside options on the waiver wire.
