Saints vs. Giants: Fantasy football projections featuring Darren Sproles, Martellus Bennett, Hakeem Nicks

USA TODAY Sports

We break down the pertinent fantasy projections for the Week 13 matchup between the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants.

The New York Giants host the New Orleans Saints in what could be a shootout at Met Life Stadium. Both teams are battling for playoff spots, and both could put together big efforts on Sunday that will impact fantasy football playoff matchups. To help you prepare your fantasy football lineup for this game, we've got game-by-game player projections courtesy of numberFire.

New Orleans Saints

We know all there is to know about the Saints passing attack. Although the Giants bring solid defense to the table, they often given up some big performances. The big question will once again be the Saints rushing attack. Darren Sproles remains the primary fantasy option in their backfield, but that is as much for his receiving skills as anything. In a rough year for the Saints, the rushing game has suffered.

New York Giants

The Giants fantasy options are all in line for big days as they face a bad Saints defense. Which ever players you are looking at in that starting lineup, they are all good starts. If you are jockeying between tight end options, Martellus Bennett should be in line for a strong day. Eli is a must-start over most quarterbacks. Even in a potential aerial show, Ahmad Bradshaw should be a solid option as well.
