Wide receiver Danny Amendola will test his foot in pre-game warm-ups to determine whether he can play for the Rams on Sunday against the Bills. We break down the fantasy implications.
Danny Amendola will test his foot in pre-game warm-ups to determine whether he will suit up for the St. Louis Rams on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, according to Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com. The wide receiver missed last week's game against the San Francisco 49ers due to the injury.
Amendola was limited in practice throughout the week before being given a questionable designation on Friday. He has played just six full games this season for the Rams, but saw double-digit targets in four of those games.
Fantasy Impact: The good news for fantasy owners is that the Rams kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET. If he is ruled out at game-time, there will at least be plenty of replacements available to slide into starting lineups. He is a solid bet to see plenty of targets working out of the slot.
If Amendola can't play, the rest of the Rams' receiving corps should see more targets. Chris Givens would likely be the biggest beneficiary. He had 11 receptions for 92 yards off 14 targets last week after Amendola was ruled out.
