Howard Smith-US PRESSWIRE
Jonathan Stewart will miss his second game in a row. We break down the fantasy implications.
Carolina Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (ankle) announced on his Twitter page that he will not play against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. The team hasn't confirmed it yet, but it won't be much of a surprise after Stewart missed an entire week of practice and was listed as doubtful. This is the second straight game he will sit out.
DeAngelo Williams will get the start once again.
Fantasy Impact: Stewart has been one of the biggest fantasy disappointments this season and can be benched, it not dropped entirely, for the fantasy playoffs.
Williams isn't an inspiring start either--he got only 12 touches filling in for Stewart last week and Mike Tolbert keeps siphoning up snaps. The Panthers run game should be avoided at this point in the season.
