US PRESSWIRE

Michael Turner is active for Sunday's game between the Falcons and the Panthers despite an elbow injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Michael Turner is active for Sunday's game between the Atlanta Falcons and the Carolina Panthers. He was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report after being limited in practice throughout the week due to an elbow injury.

There hasn't been any indication from the Falcons that Turner will be limited in Week 14. He had 12 carries for 83 yards and a touchdown last week against the New Orleans Saints, and has scored a touchdown in three straight weeks.

Fantasy Impact: Turner will be on the field for fantasy owners if they need him. Unfortunately for them, the emergence of Jacquizz Rodgers puts a squeeze on Turner's value. Turner is still the favored back in the timeshare, but Rodgers will see enough touches to keep Turner from being a true RB2. Both players deserve Flex consideration, Rodgers more so in PPR leagues.
