Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller was not a big factor for the Bills in their 15-12 loss to the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. Spiller was limited to seven carries for 37 yards with one reception for 15 yards.
Spiller was used sparingly by the Bills in a game they led for much of the day. He received the fewest touches he has had in a game since Oct. 7. Spiller was relatively effective, averaging over five yards per carry, but still was not given the ball frequently.
Fantasy Impact: Spiller received less looks than Fred Jackson and came up empty for fantasy owners after having been a consistent presence over Buffalo's last seven games.
Jackson suffered what appeared to be a serious leg injury in the fourth quarter and it looks like he won't be ready to go next week. That means Spiller will get a lot more looks next week against the Seahawks.
