Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson was carted to the locker room after suffering a leg injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson suffered a leg injury in the fourth quarter of the Bills 15-12 loss to the St. Louis Rams on Sunday and had to be carted into the locker room. Jackson had had nine carries for 14 yards and five receptions for 16 yards with a lost fumble before getting injured.
Jackson had been receiving more touches than C.J. Spiller prior to getting injured, but now will likely have to sit out with an injury. It appeared that Jackson got hit in his right knee, which was injured earlier this season.
Fantasy Impact: Jackson did not offer much fantasy value before getting injured. He was held under two yards per carry and lost a fumble. Disappointing for fantasy owners after Jackson's strong Week 13 performance.
Of course the worse news is the injury. There is no word on the severity yet, but it is possible his season could be over.
