Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 247 yards and a touchdown in a 15-12 loss to the St. Louis Rams. We break down the fantasy implications.
Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had an average performance in the Bills 15-12 loss to the St. Louis Rams. He went 25-for-33 with 247 yards passing, one touchdown and one interception; he was also sacked five times.
Fitzpatrick found Lee Smith for a two-yard touchdown pass late in the third quarter to give the Bills a 12-7 lead, but Sam Bradford and the Rams were able to score late in the fourth quarter to win the game. Fitzpatrick's top target on the day was Stevie Johnson, who caught six passes for 71 yards.
Fantasy Impact: Fitzpatrick performed about as expected; hopefully you weren't relying on him in the fantasy playoffs. His 247 yards were his most since Nov. 11, but only one touchdown isn't going to win you many games.
Fitzpatrick has a tough matchup against the Seattle Seahawks secondary next week.
