Tim Heitman-US PRESSWIRE
New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from Eli Manning in the third quarter. We break down the fantasy implications.
New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks is having a solid day with four receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown as the Giants lead the Saints 35-27 in the third quarter. Nicks had injury concerns coming into this game, but it has not kept him from making an impact.
Nicks has been targeted six times by Eli Manning and is showing no signs of an injured knee. Nicks only had 585 yards and two touchdowns coming into this game, as injuries have slowed his season. Nicks appears to be healthy now and the Giants hope the one-two punch of Nicks and Cruz can finish strong.
Fantasy Impact: Nicks always has big play potential and is performing well against the Saints after a somewhat disappointing game against the Redskins last week. There is plenty of time left in the game and Nicks should see a few more passes come his way.
