Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice got his touches and had a great day, but the Ravens were unable to hold of the Washington Redskins. We break down the fantasy implications.
Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice had a strong day in the Ravens 31-28 overtime loss to the Washington Redskins. Rice had 20 carries for 121 yards and a touchdown and added three receptions for 15 yards.
Rice only had 13 touches last week against the Steelers and saw an increase in his usage against the Redskins. Rice scored on a seven-yard touchdown run with just under five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter to give the Ravens an eight-point lead, but the Redskins were able to send the game into overtime and would go on to win.
Fantasy Impact: It was good to see Rice get the number of touches we're used to him getting and see him perform like he has all season. Even when the Ravens' offense has struggled, Rice has been a bright spot.
Rice has a tough matchup against the Broncos next week, but expect him to come through with another strong performance.
