Redskins QB Robert Griffin III pleased with first preseason performance, we break down the fantasy implications.
Washington Redskins rookie QB Robert Griffin III says he is pleased with how he played in the team's preseason win over Buffalo. He told Comcast SportsNet on the sidelines that he got into a good rhythm, and thought he played extremely well in limited action. Griffin finished four-of-six for 70 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown pass to Pierre Garcon.
Analysis: This is clearly a pretty small sample, but the Redskins have to be encouraged with the touchdown drive before Griffin left the game. In terms of fantasy, it's way too early to throw Griffin into the category of solid starter but those in keeper and dynasty leagues should keep a close eye on Griffin, as we know he will be the starter from day one.
