RB Ryan Williams will be playing for the Cardinals on Friday. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Arizona Cardinals expect RB Ryan Williams to play on Friday against the Oakland Raiders. This move is being announced as the team is still being cautious with starter Beanie Wells, who may or may not suit up on Friday. Williams is getting his first game action in almost a full year since he tore his right patellar tendon last August. Coach Ken Whisenhunt is planning on giving the starters a lot of playing time on Friday.

Analysis: The Cards are hoping Williams shows some of the speed and explosiveness that made him a 2nd-round pick back in 2011. They are also hoping he can boost a running game that ranked 24th in the NFL and take some presssure off the messy QB situation. His recovery could be a key part of putting some life in this offense.
