Cowboys Vs. Raiders: Tony Romo Has Quiet Night

Tony Romo went 3-for-6 for 30 yards during Monday night's contest between the Dallas Cowboys and the Oakland Raiders. We break down the fantasy implications.

Tony Romo went 3-for-6 for 30 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions during Monday night's preseason contest between the Dallas Cowboys and the Oakland Raiders. Of those 30 yards, 24 came on a leaping grab by Dez Bryant along the right sideline in the first quarter. Romo lasted three series.

Analysis: It was not a great night for offense in general, but the Cowboys' offense struggled even more than the Raiders' in the first half. Dallas managed just 28 totals yard of offense with Romo under center, though no one could possibly pin the blame on him. His offensive line did him no favors, letting him get sacked on a screen play and generally doing a poor job setting up a pocket. For fantasy owners, hopefully the slow start is a symptom of a little rust and nothing more.
