Ed Dickson (sprained shoulder) and Dennis Pitta (broken hand) sat out Ravens practice Tuesday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Baltimore Ravens tight ends Ed Dickson and Dennis Pitta sat out practice Tuesday, according to the Baltimore Sun. Dickson missed his fourth straight practice due to a sprained right shoulder. Pitta his 11th straight with a broken right hand.
Analysis: It's hard to tell who has a bigger role in the offense at this point. Dickson had 54 receptions to 40 for Pitta last season, but Pitta seemed to be the more prominent target over the final weeks of the season. Now would be a great time for one to separate himself over the other, but with both on the bench fantasy owners are left to guess who should be drafted first. Dickson should be the first one back on the field, and he does have more upside from an athletic standpoint. Just be prepared to see Pitta leech targets, and vice versa.
