Greg Jennings is expected to return to practice soon for the Green Bay Packers. We break down the fantasy implications.
Greg Jennings will be return to the Green Bay Packers soon, perhaps this Sunday, according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Jennings has missed practice since Aug. 3 after suffering a concussion during a scrimmage.
Analysis: Jennings' return would likely put him on the field for the Packers' third preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals next Thursday, making him a safe high draft pick assuming he doesn't suffer any kind of setback. With Aaron Rodgers manning a high-powered offense, Jennings should see plenty of scoring opportunities once again. He caught nine touchdowns last season despite missing the final three games of the regular season. Even with lots of other mouths to feed in the Packers' offense, Jennings still ranks No. 13 in Fake Teams' ranking of the top fantasy wide receivers for 2012, making him an elite WR2 in standard leagues.
