Oakland Raiders wide receiver Jacoby Ford sustained an ankle injury on Friday against the Arizona Cardinals. We discuss the fantasy implications.

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Jacoby Ford injured his ankle on Friday night against the Arizona Cardinals. Ford was seen hobbling off the field, indicating a foot injury on the play. The Raiders wide receiver was reportedly spotted on crutches in the locker room after the match-up.

Analysis: Ford is no stranger to foot injuries as he missed much of 2011 with an ankle injury. With Carson Palmer entering his second season with the Raiders, Oakland was hoping to push this passing attack to another level in 2012. Ford was supposed to be in the plans for a supposedly proficient passing game this season but this could potentially be a major setback. The complete details of the injury will likely be released later this week, but this is not good for Ford considering the up and coming weapons on the team like Darrius Heyward-Bey, Denarius Moore and newcomers Rod Streater and Juron Criner.
