Andy Reid confirms that Michael Vick and the rest of the starters could play into the third quarter on Monday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid has said that his starters could play into the third quarter on Monday against the Patriots. Additionally, QB Mike Kafka, WR Riley Cooper, DE Jason Babin, and LB Casey Matthews will be among the inactives. Nick Foles could play at least an entire quarter if not more depending on how much time Michael Vick needs out there against New England.

Fantasy Implications: Given the fact that Vick has never been the picture of perfect health throughout his career and that he's consistently putting himself in harms way by running, it seems a little dangerous to play him nearly an entire game during the preseason while Kafka is hurt. Certainly, Foles is going to need to get up to speed as quickly impossible in case Kafka misses significant time and it would make sense that eventually he'll need to get on a similar page with the ones.
