Aldrick Robinson and Dezmon Briscoe impressed Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan with their play in Saturday night's preseason loss to the Chicago Bears, the Washington Post reports. Robinson caught six passes for 104 yards and a touchdown. Briscoe had three receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown.
Analysis: Robinson and Briscoe are vying for the last spots on the Redskins' depth chart along with Anthony Armstrong, Terrence Austin and Brandon Banks. Pierre Garcon, Leonard Hankerson and Santana Moss are currently penciled in as the team's top three receivers, though none of those names should make fantasy owners drool. Frankly, you're probably better off staying away from Washington's wide receivers, especially with a rookie quarterback (albeit a talented one) set to take control of the offense. It's worth noting that Robinson and Briscoe are working their way up the depth chart, but it probably won't affect your draft much.
